Download - Log on as root and download the following file into a directory where you want to install the product (e.g., /appgen):
MybooksPro62_Linux.tar.gz ~approx 67 Meg |

Install - Next, while logged in as root and from a terminal session:
- set your umask:
----------umask 000
- go to the directory in which the downloaded files are located (e.g., cd /appgen)
- uncompress the file:
--------- MybooksPro62_Linux.tar.gz |

Configure - Run the MyBooks Professional setup program:
----------./Setup.sh
When this program finishes, a MyBooksPro icon should appear on your desktop. If you do not see it (as is frequently the case with the Gnome desktop) you need to refresh your desktop. On the Gnome desktop, simply right click anywhere on your desktop, and select Rescan Desktop. |

Start Up - Simply click on the MyBooksPro icon on your desktop.

To install the MyBooks Professional Client on your Linux workstation:

To start up MyBooks Professional:

Start Up - Simply click on the MyBooksPro icon on your desktop and specify the IP address of the server to which you want to connect.
NOTE: Before you can connect successfully to the server, the MyBooks Professional server daemon must be started on the server. To do so log on to the server as 'root' , go to the Appgen base directory, and type:
./agdaemon.sh
